With the ACT government increasing its focus on infrastructure connectivity, we’re dedicated to bringing our top-quality pipes and fittings, along with our exceptional service, to more projects in the region.

By broadening our engagement with customers and partners in the ACT, we aim to support the growth and development of local infrastructure, reinforcing our support for leading organisations like Icon Water as well as local civil construction businesses.

Government investment connecting the ACT

The ACT government’s 2024-25 budget includes a significant investment in ‘access and connectivity’, allocating approximately $2.15 billion over the next five years, which accounts for 34% of the total budget financing. Supporting job creation, a growing population and a sustainable urban landscape, this investment will have wide-ranging and positive impacts on local businesses.

This focus on connectivity from government promises new development and a focus on strategic and sustainable infrastructure development.”

Meeting government demand with future-facing pipeline infrastructure

Modern pipeline products offer a range of cost efficiencies. Many older systems used by councils and LGAs across Australia are heavy, difficult and expensive to install. These legacy systems often require skilled labour or specialised machinery for repairs and maintenance.

In contrast, materials like Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), and Polyethylene (PE) are lighter, easier to manage and offer a longer lifespan. This brings several benefits: flexibility to suit different use cases, durability, easily repairable and higher flow rates.
